We’re one of the biggest car and home insurers in the UK, in fact, we’re the country's sixth largest. We’re part of an international group, which is headquartered in Brussels and we can trace our roots back to 1824.

Customer service is at the heart of what Ageas does. You can find out more about the Ageas Insurance company  and the Ageas heritage that is almost 200 years old. We aim to make insurance easy; whether that’s buying a new policy, making a change to an existing policy or making a claim.

Awards and Accreditations

Ageas has been shortlisted for more than 50 awards over the last few years. These include winning the Personal Lines Insurer of the Year Award at the British Insurance Awards in three consecutive years, 2021, 2022 and 2023; as well as at the Insurance Times Awards in 2021. In addition to this Ageas scooped two further awards at last year’s Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards event.

Our dedication to customer service was also recognised when Ageas Insurance Ltd achieved the Institute of Customer Services (ICS) coveted ServiceMark accreditation.

No admin fees online

We’ve designed our customer portal to be simple to use. Not only can you save time, you can also avoid any admin charges when you make a change to your car policy online. You can also download your policy documents so they’re always to hand.

We make insurance easy

You can make a claim in an emergency 24/7, 365 days a year. Someone in our UK-based claims service will look to get you back on your feet as soon as possible. If you make a claim and choose one of our approved repairers, all workmanship comes with a guarantee for as long as you own the car^.

^Subject to the vehicle being maintained in accordance with the manufacturer routine maintenance schedule. Defective parts will be replaced without charge as long as they are covered by the part manufacturer’s warranty. Failure of components or bodywork damage will not be covered if failure or deterioration is through normal usage.
