How do I change or add a driver?

To get a quote to amend, remove, or add new drivers, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your online account
  • Click ‘Change policy details’
  • Underneath ‘Need to change driver details?’ click ‘Edit’
  • Input the date of the change and click ‘Continue’
  • Select 'Edit' to amend the existing driver details, or to add a driver click 'Add new driver'
  • Insert your new details
  • Once all the details are entered, click ‘Save’
  • Click ‘Continue’ to quote the change
  • You can click 'Save' to exit or 'Continue' to purchase the change.

How do I change my car details?

To get a quote to change the vehicle on your policy, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your online account
  • Click on ‘Change policy details’
  • Underneath ‘Need to change your car?’ click ‘Edit’
  • Input the date of the change and click ‘Continue’
  • Insert the new car details and click 'Find My Vehicle'
  • Once all the details are entered, click ‘Continue’
  • You can then click ‘Save’ to exit or ‘Continue’ to purchase the change.

How do I change my address?

To get a quote to change your address on your policy, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your online account
  • Click on ‘Change policy details’
  • Underneath ‘Need to change your address?’ click ‘Edit’
  • Input the date of the change and click ‘Continue’
  • Enter your new postcode and click 'Find my address' and then select your address
  • Insert your new details
  • Once all the details are entered, click ‘Continue'
  • You can then click ‘Save’ to exit or ‘Continue’ to purchase the change.

How do I change my occupation?

To get a quote to change the details of any drivers, please follow these steps:

  • Log in to your online account
  • Click ‘Change policy details’
  • Underneath ‘Need to change driver details?’ click ‘Edit’
  • Input the date of the change and click ‘Continue’
  • Next to the driver whose details need changing click 'Edit'
  • Insert your new details
  • Once all the details are entered, click ‘Save’ then 'Continue'
  • You can then click ‘Save’ to exit or ‘Continue’ to purchase the change.

How do I update my annual mileage?

  • Log in to your online account
  • Click on ‘change policy details’
  • Underneath ‘Need to change your car?’ click ‘Edit’
  • Input the date of the change and click ‘Continue’
  • Change required information
  • Once all the details are entered, click ‘Continue’
  • You can click ‘Save’ to exit or ‘Continue’ to purchase the change.

How do I change my password?

  • Log in to your account
  • Select ‘My account details’
  • The ‘Change password’ section should show at the top. This will allow you to enter your current password and then enter a new password
  • Click ‘Save’ to complete your change
  • You will then receive an email to confirm your password has been updated.

Changes you can’t yet make via your online account

  • Change the class of use (e.g. adding commuting or business use)
  • Add or remove add-ons (e.g. breakdown cover)
  • Add, edit or remove car modifications
  • Change your name (e.g. your surname or to correct a spelling mistake)
  • Update your contact details (e.g. email or phone number)
  • Temporary vehicles or drivers
  • Changes in the renewal period
  • Changes before the policy starts
  • Changes when you have an open claim
  • Add, edit or remove a claim or conviction

Do I have to tell you I've changed to winter tyres?

There is no need to tell us if you have changed to winter tyres.

Do you charge a fee if I want to change my policy?

Yes, there is a £25 admin fee to make changes to your policy by phone. However, you will not have to pay if you make the change via your online account.
