Is there a maximum number of years I can earn for my No Claims Discount?
Your No Claims Discount builds up over time, but most insurers set a limit on how many years you can earn. This limit varies between insurers, at Ageas, the maximum is 9 years.
What happens to extra years I've built up?
You've still earnt those extra years, and they're safely kept on record. It just means you've reached our maximium discount level once you hit 9 years.
What will my documents say?
If you declare more than 9 years, your documents will show 9 years No Claims Discount. Not to worry, any years over 9 haven't been lost, they're still on record.
