Understanding your No Claims Discount

In a nutshell, as long as you don’t make a claim during your annual policy cover, we’ll include your No Claims Discount when it’s time to renew your insurance.

Depending on what type of cover you have, you may not lose your no claims discount. To find out more, take a look at the tables below:

Ageas Direct Car

Your no claims discount won’t be affected if:

  • You’ve made a claim for a damaged windscreen or window glass or replacement locks
  • All our costs are recovered from a third party
  • You have comprehensive cover and make a claim for an accident that’s not your fault and the driver of the vehicle that hit your car is identified and uninsured.

  • all of our outlay is recovered from a third party or could be but for an industry agreement; or,
