Insurers consider lots of factors when deciding what’s fair to charge you for your cover. This will often include things such as your age your occupation and where you park your car overnight, but could also include the insurance group of your vehicle. This is a banding system running 1-50, whereby the cars in the lowest bands are cheaper to repair and involve less risk to insurers.
