Hot on the heels of being awarded the Gold Standard for Insurance for the ninth year running, Ageas scooped another two awards at the Insurance Times Awards, including the coveted Personal Lines Insurer of the Year title, voted for by brokers in the industry.
The Insurance Times Awards, which took place at the InterContinental Hotel in London, are one of the biggest award ceremonies in the General Insurance calendar, recognising the very best of customer focused companies in the industry.
The Gold Standard for Insurance accolade, presented to Ageas at a House of Commons reception last month, has been championing the benchmark in financial services for 14 years and recognises companies that go above and beyond their duties.
The award not only takes into account a company’s standard of service, financial strength, fair value and customer trust, but also considers elements including culture and social responsibility.
The Insurance Times Awards is one of the biggest award ceremonies in the General Insurance calendar, recognising the very best of customer focused companies in the industry. Ageas came away with both the Personal Lines Insurer of the Year Award, as well as ‘Claims Initiative of the Year’ for its collaboration with Aviva in revolutionising the way Third Party motor insurance claims are handled.
Gold Standard Head Judge, Deborah Benn, said: “Ageas is a company that strives to reach out to customers, employees and the industry to ensure that the way it does business is fresh and relevant. Everyone at Ageas has a clear sense of wanting to improve and make good use of initiatives to keep them on the front foot. Its culture of service excellence is clearly making a difference."
Andy Watson, CEO at Ageas, commented on the awards: “It is an honour to be recognised in this way. I’m incredibly proud of the great work the team does for our customers and that their high standards of service remain amongst the very best in our industry.”
