“We’re doing all we can to help customers get back on their feet during the floods and storms through access to emergency payments, alternative accommodation, support through our loss adjuster network and by significantly increasing the people we have on the phones to handle claims. Our main focus is making contact with customers to provide re-assurance and get immediate predicament issues identified and solutions in place. We are also working closely with our loss adjusters to identify any vulnerable customers. Although access is an issue, with roads being closed and water preventing access in certain areas, the loss adjusters are doing all they can to help customers with their immediate requirements.
We know from experience that there is a long road to recovery for those unfortunate enough to suffer serious flood damage to their homes and businesses and we will continue to support customers to return them to their pre-flood state as best and as quickly as we possibly can.”
