After attending the flood meeting with Government today, Andy Watson, CEO of Ageas UK said:

“Ageas is doing all it can to help customers get back on their feet during the floods and storms through access to  emergency payments, alternative accommodation, support through its loss adjuster network and by significantly increasing the number of employees on the phones to handle claims.  We have already paid out nearly £5 million in claims and made over 7,000 interim payments to help affected customers. We know from experience that there is a long road to recovery for those unfortunate enough to suffer serious flood damage to their homes and businesses and we will continue to support customers to return them to their pre-flood state as best and as quickly as we possibly can.”
