Ageas Insurance offers a series of easy to administer commercial packages which cater to a wide range of business insurance needs. In addition, Commercial Choice is available for sectors currently outside our package range. All products are supported by our Commercial Credit Plan, available for premiums of over £200 a year. Our graduated product range and service support enables us to cater for everything from manufacture through to retail sales, on the same easy to administer basis.

Service standards

New business enquiries
Faxed and e-mailed quotations are logged within 24 hours. If we're unable to attend to the quotation immediately it will be acknowledged and we'll confirm which Underwriter will be handling the quote, their direct contact number, and target date for completion within your stated deadline. Where we are unable to quote we will always send confirmation with our reasons.

Confirmation of cover
Written confirmation of hold covered will be posted within 48 hours (2 working days) of your request; or if you prefer and rerquest we can send these immediately where you choose to receive these electronically. Where documents are issued by other means they will be issued by ourselves within these timescales, although delivery may take longer.

New Business
Package policies through Quick Quote - issued within 1 working day
Package policies through Ageas website - issued within 2 working days
Semploy Extra - issued within 2 working days
Other new Package policies - issued within 5 working days
Combined policies - issued within 10 working days.

Documentation can be issued immediately where you choose to receive these electronically.  Where documents are issued by other means they will be issued by ourselves within these timescales although delivery may take longer.

Surveys
We prioritise our survey work according to the mutual need. If a survey is agreed as urgent, we will aim to complete a survey within 7 working days of request.

Renewals
Renewals are sent at least 32 days prior to the renewal date.

Customer Support
Commercial Insurance can be complex and the Ageas commercial team is available to provide help and advice as required. We will issue our commercial partners with direct dial telephone numbers, fax and e-mail contact points.

We aim to develop our commercial account through partnership agreements with intermediaries.

This is the standard Ageas cover with effect from December 2010. We also underwrite a variety of schemes, if you have a policy underwritten by Ageas you should check your policy document for full cover details.
